Our assignment was to make a short film describing a word without the use of sound, we had to do it in a limited amount of time, and it all had to be shot in school, we got the word Cruel. This project definetly posed a challenge since it all had to be shot in school, but we pushed through and I'm really proud of what came out at the end.
For our brainstorming sheet, we really focused on having a diversity of shots so we can really convey the story in a fun and entertaining way for the viewer, we really tried to make it so we could be as creative as possible while still making something thats good quality.
The brainstorming really helped us by giving us a guideline to follow while shooting our shots, helping us visuallize more easily how the shots were gonna be made and in what order we should put each individual shot.
We used the editing resource called Adobe Express Pro, we specifically used this one because it was much more simpler than the other option, and it really expediated our editing process by how simple and helpful it was when it came to cutting clips and moving stuff around.
I really like how we were able to cut the clips in a way that felt natural and almost seemless, how we were able to move from one shot to the other while staying on track, something that could be improved is the continuity of the stuff in the table and some of the actions been made.
